ARTHOUSE DESIGN WA is a small building design practice with experience working on a multitude of commercial, industrial, retail and residential projects, all executed with DESIGN EXCELLENCE and an exemplary professional culture.
ESTABLISHED IN 2017, the PERTH BASED company works alongside builders, property developers, real estate agents and building contractors to deliver on vast array of projects.
The projects include but are not limited to offices, warehouses, retail shops, medical centres to gym and fitness facilities.
ARTHOUSE DESIGN WA has been involved with over 50 projects located all around the Perth area.

Our approach to design follows practical method, to ensure functional outcomes for our projects. Through our processes, we explore layouts, schematics, diagrams and sketches to work how they can come together as a built form.
SERVICES
CONCEPTUAL DESIGNS
We provide concept sketches to assist in bringing out the site’s potential. All our conceptual designs work with the lot, with the desire to achieve as much building area as possible, while being functional in circulation aspects such as parking, pedestrian accessways and landscaping.
DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL DRAWINGS
We can develop conceptual designs into a full set of Development Application plans, ready to be lodged into the local council for Development Application. We can assist with this whole process as well as liaising direct with local council planners.
WORKING DRAWINGS
Once a Development Approval has been granted, we can assist in taking the next step by preparing working drawings and documentation. We work with consultants such as structural engineers, fire consultants, fire engineers, energy efficiency assessors and building surveyors to ensure compliance and prepare full architectural plans ready for Building Permit Application with the local council.
Council Applications
We can lodge all plans and documents with the local council, as required for the project. We deal directly with the local council, working with Planning officers and Building Surveyors to assist with the approvals process.
3D Renderings
3D visualisations are helpful tools in bringing design ideas to life. We can model and render projects from scratch, giving clients an idea of what the end result may look like and help drive design decisions.
General Draftings
We can assist with any general drafting requirements, from retroactive approvals with council, to taking over projects from another Building Design / Architecture company, to help the project move forward in the right direction.
Fitout Designs, Documentation & Approvals
New builds are not our only forte, we also do internal fit out designs for a wide array of projects. From gyms, offices, shops and cafes, we can design and document plans to help bring these spaces to life and prepare drawings to submit for assessment and approvals at the local council.
Construction Documentation
We work alongside builders and building contractors to document drawings essential to keeping the project moving forward on site.
Marketing Documents
From 3D renderings to advertising signage boards, we can assist in documenting upcoming projects to present for sales, marketing and advertising requirements.
As Built Drafting and Compliance Documents
We work alongside building contractors to document all installed services to assist with handover documentation and as built plans.
Development / Planning Approvals
We deal with local councils in submitting applications for Development / Planning Approvals with many local councils around Perth.
Building Approvals

Coordination of Consultant Services
We work closely with all our consultants, many which we have worked with for years, to build a good rapport and ensure successful outcomes.
Liaison with Private Certifiers
We work closely with our private certifiers to help make our projects compliance to the Building Code and Australian Standards.
